Permit2Drive does not operate any servers and does not collect or store your data on our systems.
Where Your Data Lives
All data created in Permit2Drive is stored:
- Locally on your device, and
- In your own Google Drive account, only if you choose to enable Google Drive sync
We do not receive, copy, or have access to your data at any time.
Information You May Store
Permit2Drive stores only the information you choose to enter, such as:
- Driver names
- Driving dates, times, and totals
- Driving conditions (day/night, weather, etc.)
- Supervisor names (if provided)
How Your Data Is Used
- Data is used solely to provide the app’s features (logging, viewing, importing, exporting, and syncing driving records).
- No data is used for advertising, analytics, tracking, or profiling.
Google Drive Access
If you enable Google Drive sync:
- Permit2Drive accesses only the specific files it creates or opens in your Google Drive.
- Access can be revoked at any time through your Google account settings.
Data Sharing
- We do not sell, share, or transmit your data to third parties.
- Any file sharing or exporting is initiated entirely by you.
Children’s Privacy
Permit2Drive may be used to track driving activity for minors. The app does not collect information directly from children beyond what a parent or guardian chooses to enter.
Your Control
- You can delete your data from your device at any time.
- You remain in full control of any data stored in your Google Drive.
