Delete your Permit2Drive account or data
Choose whether you want to delete your entire Permit2Drive account or only particular information. We may need to verify that you own the account or are authorized to manage the requested data before completing a request.
Delete my entire account
You can delete your account directly in the Permit2Drive app by going to Settings > Delete Account .
If you cannot access the app, send us a request from the email address associated with your Permit2Drive account.
After your request is verified, we will delete:
- Your Permit2Drive account information, including your name, email address, sign-in method, account role, and access to driving logs
- Driving groups and logs under your control
- Driver profiles, drive entries, notes, and sharing records associated with the deleted data

Delete selected data only
You may ask us to delete particular Permit2Drive information while keeping your account active.
Your request can cover items such as:
- Individual drive records or notes
- A driver profile
- A driving log or group, where allowed by your ownership role
- Other specific information you identify
Requests involving a shared driving log will be handled according to your account role and ownership permissions so another member's data is not removed improperly.

Information needed to locate your account or data
To protect your account and make sure we delete the correct information, please send your request from the email address associated with your Permit2Drive account whenever possible.
Please include as much of the following information as you can:
- Your first and last name as shown in Permit2Drive
- The email address associated with your account
- How you sign in: Apple, Google, or email and password
- Your account role and access level, as shown on the App Info page
- The first and last name of the supervisor or driving-log owner
- The first and last name of each affected driver
- The name of the driving log or group, if known
- Whether you want your entire account deleted or only specific data deleted
- For a partial deletion request, a description of the drivers, drives, notes, or other information you want removed
Using Sign in with Apple?
If you selected Hide My Email , please provide the Apple relay email address shown on the Permit2Drive App Info page.
Permit2Drive may contact you for additional information to verify that you own the account or are authorized to manage the requested data. We will never ask for your Permit2Drive password, Apple password, Google password, driver's-license number, or payment information.
What happens after you submit a request
- Send the request from the email address associated with your Permit2Drive account whenever possible.
- We may contact you for information needed to verify account ownership or your role in a shared driving log.
- After verification, we will process the request and contact you when it is complete or if additional information is required.
Data that may be retained
Permit2Drive account and driving-log data covered by a verified request will be deleted. Limited records may be retained when reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or documenting that a deletion request was completed.
Purchases and payment records maintained by Google Play, Apple, or their payment providers are controlled by those providers and are subject to their own retention policies. Deleting a Permit2Drive account does not automatically cancel or refund a purchase.
