Welcome to Permit2Drive. These Terms of Service describe the rules and conditions for using the Permit2Drive mobile app and related website.

By using Permit2Drive, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

About Permit2Drive

Permit2Drive is a driving log app designed to help learner drivers, families, and supervisors track supervised driving practice, review driving totals, share access when needed, and export driving log records.

Permit2Drive is provided as an organizational tool only. Driving log requirements vary by state, licensing agency, school, and program. You are responsible for confirming your current requirements with the appropriate licensing authority and making sure your records are accurate, complete, and acceptable for your situation.

Your Responsibilities

When using Permit2Drive, you agree to:

• Use the app lawfully and responsibly.
• Enter accurate driving log information.
• Review your records before relying on them or submitting them.
• Follow all applicable driving, permit, licensing, and supervision rules.
• Confirm official requirements with your state or local licensing authority.
• Keep your sign-in information secure.
• Use Permit2Drive’s sharing features instead of sharing your personal account credentials.

Permit2Drive does not guarantee that any exported log, total, or record will satisfy a licensing authority, driving school, insurance company, court, or other organization.

Accounts, Cloud Storage, and Shared Logs

Permit2Drive uses accounts so driving log data can be saved, synced, recovered, and shared with people you invite. You may be able to sign in using supported options such as Google, Apple, or email, depending on your device and app version.

Your driving log data may be stored using secure cloud services connected to your Permit2Drive account. Your device may also store some app data locally so the app can work smoothly.

Permit2Drive may allow the creator or owner of a driving log to invite other users, such as family members or supervisors, to access or contribute to that log. The owner is responsible for managing shared access and removing users who should no longer have access.

If you join a shared driving log, information you add to that log may be visible to the log owner and other authorized users. Do not add information to a shared log unless you are comfortable with authorized users of that log seeing it.

You are responsible for using the correct account and for keeping your sign-in information safe. Do not share your personal sign-in credentials with others.

Imports, Exports, and Records

Permit2Drive may allow you to import supported driving log files or export your driving records for your own files, licensing requirements, or long-term record keeping.

You are responsible for reviewing imported data and exported records for accuracy and completeness. Permit2Drive does not guarantee that imported records will be complete or that exported records will be accepted by any licensing authority or other organization.

Once you export a file from Permit2Drive, you are responsible for storing, sharing, or deleting that exported file.

Account and Data Deletion

Permit2Drive may provide options to delete your account and associated driving log data from within the app.

Only the creator or owner of a shared driving log can delete that shared log for everyone. Other users may be removed from a shared log, but they cannot delete the owner’s log.

Before deleting your account or driving log, we recommend exporting your records if you need a copy for licensing requirements, personal records, or future reference.

Some information may remain for a limited time in backups, logs, or records where required for security, legal, troubleshooting, or operational purposes.

Inactive Accounts

Permit2Drive may eventually remove accounts and associated driving log data after an extended period of inactivity. If we adopt an inactive-account deletion policy, we will update our Privacy Policy or Terms to describe the current policy.

Data and Privacy

Your use of Permit2Drive is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how you can contact us with privacy-related questions.

In-App Purchases and Ads

Permit2Drive may include advertisements and may offer optional in-app purchases, such as an ad-free upgrade. In-app purchases are handled by the applicable app store, such as Apple’s App Store or Google Play.

Purchase availability, pricing, taxes, refunds, and billing are controlled by the applicable app store and may be subject to that store’s terms and policies.

No Professional or Legal Advice

Permit2Drive does not provide legal, licensing, insurance, driver education, or professional advice. Information in the app or on the website is provided for general convenience only. Always check official requirements with your state or local licensing authority.

Availability and Changes

We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of Permit2Drive at any time. We may also update these Terms from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.

We do not guarantee that Permit2Drive will always be available, that syncing will always be immediate, or that data can always be recovered in every circumstance. You should export important records when you need a separate copy.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Permit2Drive is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that driving log records will meet the requirements of any licensing authority or other organization.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Permit2Drive and Sparkle Revolution, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
